Tavereau, or Number 51 to be precise, is a medieval town house formed of five buildings connected around a courtyard. If you have a car (parking no problem) then there is so much more to see. Towns not accessible by public transport spring up in every direction, each linked to the other by the beautiful and bountiful Bordeaux vineyards. Stunning Duras with its 12th Century castle, the restaurants and golf course of the legendary Chateau Vigiers together with pretty market towns such as Eymet are all around a 20 minute drive.
